Create a Visual Symbol of Healing

This is a quick computer sketch I did for The Healing Call’s logo a few years back.

The logo symbolizes the state of transformation that takes place when we tap into and align with our call to connect with the innate healing powers that exist within us and in nature.

The bird represents personal freedom, reaching new heights, letting go of fear, and soaring above earthly/physical troubles. The heart is a symbol of deep love, love of spirit and creation as well as a love of self and others. The leaf is a symbol of nature, plants and the plant foods and herbs that can help us heal our bodies and connect more closely to our souls.

I am sharing this to encourage you to consider creating your own art that feels reflective of healing and transformation. Visual art can be a cathartic process and help us heal some of the emotional wounds that are linked with physical disease.

Get out your pencil, markers, paints, whatever you have and explore a visual image that can represent your healing journey or what you are aspiring to. When you are done hang it up in a place you can see daily to remind you of the transformation taking place within and reinforce the feelings you want to have about healing.
